Gilda's Club August 25, 2010 On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, LAP members hosted a dinner for 10 members of Gilda's Club and their family. The "Backyard Barbeque" meal was a success and the LAP members enjoyed talking to the folks at Gilda's Club, a place for people living with cancer to laugh, love and live.

Sullivan Student Meet and Greet March 9, 2010 On Tuesday, March 9, 2010, the LAP hosted a meet and greet for all Sullivan University paralegal program students. This was an opportunity for the students to interact on a personal level with working paralegals to discuss work and family, job duties, and the career market. Nick Riggs and Judge Stringer made a point of asking their students to attend and ask the questions that only a paralegal can answer. Thanks to Melissa Reynolds, the LAP Student Liaison for organizing the function. The students walked away with valuable knowledge and the LAP recruited new members for the future of our organization. |
